Overview
In 2015 Sarah joined Richard Buxton as a paralegal. Upon finishing the Legal Practice Course, in which Sarah gained a distinction, she completed a training contract with the Firm, qualifying in January 2019.
Sarah’s work includes Judicial and Statutory Reviews (High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court), planning appeals, Local Plans (including advocating at EiP), statutory and private nuisance in the Magistrates’ and County Courts, and Town and Village Greens.
With an MA undergraduate degree in Politics, focusing on international, human rights and environmental politics, Sarah wanted to advocate for change, inspiring her to become a lawyer.

Sarah gets her miles in with her love of walking and hiking, be it in the Suffolk countryside, the Peak District, or visiting family in Northumberland and Scotland. You’ll also find her clinging to rocks as much of her free time is spent bouldering, or skiing down a mountain. Generally, you will find Sarah somewhere in the great outdoors. Sarah also enjoys live music and food.
