Overview
Lucy joined Richard Buxton Solicitors in September 2014 as a paralegal, and also completed her training contract with the firm, before qualifying as a solicitor.
Lucy’s experience ranges across the firm’s practice, acting for private individuals, local residents’ groups, and environmental charities. Her casework includes planning and environmental judicial review proceedings in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, planning appeals, planning objections, and also statutory and private nuisance claims.
Lucy read Geography at Durham University, and completed her legal studies at BPP University, receiving distinctions in both the GDL and LPC.

Lucy loves spending as much time as possible outdoors and exploring new places. A keen traveller, she also enjoys outdoor swimming whenever the opportunity presents itself, whatever the time of year or temperature! Lucy also has a passion for nature, and can often be found with her binoculars in hand in search of birds of prey and other wildlife.
