Hannah rejoined to Richard Buxton in 2016, having worked as a paralegal prior to commencing her training contract at City law firm.

Since returning, Hannah has assisted across the Firm’s specialisms, including cases involving planning & EIA development, statutory and private nuisance and Judicial Review proceedings. During her time as a paralegal, she was involved in the High Court action, Lawrence v Fen Tigers Ltd [2011] EWHC 360 (QB).

Hannah trained and worked at a City of London firm specialising in shipping and qualified into the Marine and Commercial Litigation Group. Following qualification, she was involved in a broad range of commercial cases including insurance and financial products litigation, super yacht disputes and litigation in relation to the free movement of goods within the European Union. During her training contract, which involved a six month seat in the firm’s Singapore office, she acted for a broad range of clients including shipowners, charterers and P&I clubs with experience in the High Court, Commercial Court and Court of Appeal, as well as in LMAA and SIAC arbitrations.

Hannah read Geography at Churchill College, University of Cambridge and completed her legal studies at the College of Law and BPP University, receiving distinctions in both the GDL and LPC.
